We may not know when a newAlienmovie is coming our way, but at leastAlienDay is coming back in 2018. The annual celebration of all thingsAlienreturns on June 13, 2025, for its third annualglobal celebration of the iconic sci-fi franchise. In addition to a whole bunch of activities and special deals to celebrate the franchise, a first of its kind initiative will be announced leading up toAlienDay, which is set to launch on April 26th.
Alien Daytakes place each year on April 26, which is a nod toplanet LV-426from Ridley Scott’s firstAlienmovie. But you won’t have to wait till then to get in on the fun. Beginning today, Fox has unveiled all-new apparelcommemorating Dark Horse’s upcoming comic,Aliens: Dust to Dust, which launches later this month. In preparation forAlienday, fans can shop from a wide selection of never-before-available merchandise on Shop.FoxMovies.com. Additionally, the first 50 customers to purchase selectAlien-themed merchandise will receive the first copies ofAliens: Dust to Dust#1.
Also, leading up to the celebration, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will make every movie in the franchise available to own digitally for $4.99, via theMovie of the Dayapp. This includesAlien(4/21),Aliens(4/22),Alien 3(4/23),Alien: Resurrection(4/24),Prometheus(4/25) andAlien: Covenant(4/26). So you can complete yourAlienmovie collection pretty cheap. If you’re more of a gamer, you can winAlienmovies on Blu-ray and other prizes by competing in Zen Studios’AliensPinball FX3 tournament. Everyone who plays theAlienstable on Five-Minute Mode between April 26 and May 3 is eligible, with the best prizes going to those who top the leaderboards. Also, if you have HBO, you’ll be in luck.
