Resting at the heart ofBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceis one of the mostepic superherofights the world will ever see. One moment from this brawl is teased in the latest batch of photos from the upcomingDC Comics adventure.Total Film’s latestissueis the gift that just keeps giving, as we get to see a few more glimpses of action from this anticipated March release.
The centerpiece of these 6 new images findsThe Dark Knightswooping down from the sky to kickKal-Elin the face. As we’ve seen from the trailers, both good guys are about to go crashing through that ceiling skylight. What happens minutes after is anyone’s guess, but it will probably be intense, insane and every other over-glorified exclamation you want to tack onto it! We’re sure directorZack Snyderwon’t disappoint.

Also included in this latest set of stills is a new look at the Batmobile. And as you can see, it is getting a significant change from the last time we saw it on the big screen inChristopher Nolan’sThe Dark Knight Risesin 2012. That film’s Tumblr was a heavy piece of hardware. This version of the Batmobile is a little more DIY. Speaking at the Bob Kane ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this week,Zack Snyderhad this to say about the new Batmobile and how it has evolved over time.
“The new Batmobile is super fast. It’s purpose built, which I like. We imagine that Batman built it over time, you know, with parts from Wayne Industries or something. He’s made it specifically for the job of fighting crime.”

Tim Burton’s 1989Batmandidn’t have time to offer up an origin story for the Batmobile. But inChristopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, we learned that the iconic car was repurposed from a military bridging vehicle. It sounds likeZack Snyderdefinitely wants to distance his version of Batman from those past incarnations, with the Batmobile a sort of weekend project for Bruce Wayne. This offers the ability to have it keep evolving through theUntitled Batman Rebootand theJustice Leaguemovies as well.
While these latest photos give us another look at the epic fight and the Batmobile, we also get to see Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman. Sure, this image ofGal Gadotin her red dress was unveiled in the previous trailer. But whose going to balk as seeing her again? We also get to see The Dark Knight standing next to his Batsignal, and Kal-El lifting the fallen space shuttle. What do you think? Do these latest images get you revved up for this battle of the titans? Or are you tired of waiting forBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceto arrive?
