We learned last week that ABC had todelaytheSeason 2premiere ofMarvel’s Agent Carterfrom Tuesday, January 5 to Tuesday, January 19, due to PresidentBarack Obama’s State of the Union Address on January 12. Since fans will have to wait an extra two weeks for this beloved show to return,iTuneshas released the first clip, featuring both Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) and Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy). This scene features Edwin driving Peggy through the streets of L.A., pointing out everything that irritates him about the City of Angeles.
This scene also reveals that Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper) has gotten into the movie business, and since he’s currently away on pre-production, Edwin asks if he could at least drive Peggy around. Seems his life has gotten rather boring. Marvel’s Agent Carter returns for a second season of adventure and intrigue, starringHayley Atwellin the titular role of the unstoppable agent for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve). Dominic CooperandBridget Reganwill reprise their roles fromSeason 1as Howard Stark and Dottie Underwood, but it isn’t known how many episodes they will appear in, or when they will debut. New characters this season includeWynn Everettas Whitney Frost, a.k.a.Madame Masque, Reggie Austin as Jason Wilkes, Peggy’s new love interest and Currie Graham as Frost’s husband, a high-powered businessman named Calvin Chadwick. Season 2of Marvel’s Agent Carter will span 10 episodes, two more than the inaugural season that debuted back in January. Like last season, Marvel’s Agent Carter will occupy the Tuesday 9 PM ET time slot held byMarvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., during that show’s midseason hiatus.
