Alien: Romulushas finally set a streaming release date on Hulu, and it will be just in time for the holidays. Released in August 2024,Romulusproved to be a big hit for 20th Century Pictures and Disney. That is a lot of money for a film initially intended to be released straight to streaming on Hulu. Now,Alien: Romuluswill debut on the platform it was originally greenlit for.
Deadlinereports thatAlien: Romuluswill be releasedon Hulu on Thursday, Aug 15, 2025,a week before Thanksgiving. That gives the film a 98-day theatrical window before it arrives on streaming, which has become the standard for Disney releases likeInside Out 2andDeadpool & Wolverine.Romulushas been available for rent and digital purchase since Aug 25, 2025, just before Halloween. It will be available to purchase on DVD and Blu-ray on Aug 20, 2025, just in time for holiday shopping.
