Netflix acquires the license of new titles from various distributors every month and once this licensing period is up, they leave the platform. Barringone major historical fiction, the rest of the television series leaving Netflix in February 2023 may not make most adults cry unless, of course, you are secretly a mega fan of anime and children’s cartoon shows. After all, age is just a number.

While some of these shows will find a home on other streaming platforms or air on regular TV channels, like good old times, a few might be hard to find once they leave the ubiquitous premises of Netflix due to accessibility issues.

In 2012, Irons earned a Golden Globe nomination in the Best Actor in a Television Series Drama category for his role.

The Borgiasis supposed to continue streaming on Showtime through subscription mode with them or via Prime Video or The Roku Channel.

However, she decides to go on one date with Ben because she argues, “What’s the worst that can happen!” Well, Ben dies only to come back as a pescatarian zombie and Charley has to help him blend into high school life. She also begins to fall for the very much undead Ben. After the first season started streaming on Netflix, it resurrected hopes of a season two renewal but nothing was ever officially announced.

The Mystic River (Feb. 1)

The Nigerian horror series followsthe mysterious disappearancesof pregnant women from a remote village over decades. In the first season, an expectant doctor tries to solve the enigma and comes close to uncovering the deadly tradition behind this oddity. Shot in the Nigerian town Ijebu Ode, the series starred Lota Chukwu, Jide Kosoko, Dele Odule, Joke Muyiwa, Jude Chukwuka, Olawale Gold, and Grace Coker, among others.

Pop Team Epic Season 1 (Feb. 1)

Written and illustrated by Bkub Okawa,Pop Team Epicis a four-panel surreal comedy manga series turned into an anime series. Thisskit-based pop culture satirefollows two high school girls, the short and feisty Popuko and the tall and calm Pipimi. It is mostly plotless, shifting from one absurd referential scene to another. But has amassed a cult following in Japan as well as elsewhere. The anime capitalizes on the quirky and outlandish humor its source material thrives on. The first season was directed by Jun Aoki and Aoi Umeki and animations are done by Kamikaze Douga. Initially, whenPop Team Epicstarted streaming on Netflix in February 2020, only 11-minute episodes were available. After complaints from fans, they were replaced by the original half-hour-length episodes.

Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir Seasons 1 - 5 (Feb. 1)

All three seasons ofMiraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noirfeaturing the crime-fighting duo Marinette and Adrian will leave the platform worldwide. The two Parisian teenagers Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste are secret superheroes with the aliases Ladybug and Cat Noir, respectively. They transform with the help of magical jewels called Miraculous that are powered by cosmic beings called Kwamis. The main villain of the show, and Ladybug and Cat Noir’s arch nemesis, is Hawk Moth, who is actually Adrien’s father Gabriel Agreste.

The series is created, directed, and written by Thomas Astruc. The other directors for the series have been Christelle Abgrall, Jeremy Paoletti, Benoît Boucher, Wilifried Pain, and Mr. Jun. Thepopular animated cartoonhas streamed in more than 120 territories.

Horrid Henry Seasons 1 and 2 (Feb. 1)

Based on the children’s book series of the same name that is written by Francesca Simon and illustrated by Tony Ross,Horrid Henryis yet another animated children’s show leaving Netflix’s catalog this February.Horrid Henryis a slice-of-life story about the titular Henry, who is a very mischievous boy. Henry has a perfect brother, aptly called Perfect Peter, and he isn’t the only character who has a similarly descriptive and alliterative name. There is also Rude Ralph, Moody Margaret, and Brainy Brian.

It was originally broadcast on CITV between August 11, 2025, and August 03, 2025. The animated series is written by Tony Hall and Francesca Simon and directed by Dave Unwin. The characters are voiced by Lizzie Waterworth-Santo, Emma Tate, Aidan Cook, Joanna Ruiz, Sue Elliott-Nichols, Tamsin Heatley, and Wayne Forester. The show also airs on Nicktoons.
