Black Adam

Throughout his career, Johnson has always come across as surprisingly down-to-earth and genuinely friendly and welcoming, so it’s good to hear that this is true for the people he works alongside. Known for his roles in the likes ofTo All the Boys I’ve Loved BeforeandCharlie’s Angels, Noah Centineo will soon join the pantheon of silver screen comic book heroes starring as Albert “Al” Rothstein, aka Atom Smasher, inBlack Adam.

Possessing the ability to control his molecular structure and manipulate his size and strength,Atom Smasher is a member of the Justice Society of America, a superhero team made up of Aldis Hodge as Carter Hall AKA Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkel AKA Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson AKA Doctor Fate.

Noah Centineo is not the only member of theBlack Adamcast to heap praise on Dwayne Johnson. His co-star and fellow member of the JSA,Pierce Brosnan, has also applauded the action movie superstar for his role in bringing Black Adam to life, calling his performance “magnificent.”

“It’s an ensemble piece, Black Adam. You have Dwayne, who’s at the pinnacle of his fame and fortune and success and popularity,” Brosnan said last year of working with Johnson. “He is magnificent as Black Adam. We are the Justice Society and there’s four of us, so we became a strong quartet of actors. The writing was very good. There was just enough beats. You just want three good beats. If you have three good scenes to hang your hat and your heart on, then you can make something of your days. For me, Black Adam had that, and Cinderella had it, in its own specific way.”
