Rosé Missing Trainee Days
There’s no doubt that the trainee lifestyle is tough, with endless hours of practicing and constant criticism. However, as Rosé revealed during the documentary, there are still some perks that come with the trainee life. Rosé mentions that she missed being surrounded by music during her trainee days. She claimed that in those days she had more freedom and time to explore music. Jennie’s Experience in New Zealand
Living away from home is definitely not easy, especially not at a young age. For Blackpink’s Jennie, who moved to New Zealand to study at the young age of nine, the experience was rather pleasant. In the Netflix documentary, Jennie revealed that while living apart from her family was difficult, she really liked living in New Zealand. In fact, during the interaction at Maeng’s shop, it was revealed that Jisoo was the one who advised Maeng to open her own makeup studio! Seems like the two women are really close to one another.

Jisoo Did Not Want to Be an Idol
During the documentary, it was revealed that Jisoo did not want to be a K-pop idol. When she was younger, she wanted to become an artist or a writer. However, in high school, she realizedshe had a passion for acting. She originally auditioned for YGEntertainment to become an actress, but eventually discovered that singing and dancing were her true passion.
Destined Meeting in the Elevator
It seems that the four girls were destined to debut together. Rosé revealed in an interview that on her very first day at YG Entertainment she encountered another trainee in the elevator. Little did she know that the other trainee would become her closest friend and little sister, Lisa. Lisa Waited Two Months For YG Entertainment
Lisa, who grew up with a passion for dancing, auditioned for YG Entertainment when she was fourteen. She revealed that it took the company two months to get back to her. She said that she eagerly waited to hear back from them as both singing and dancing were something she was super passionate about. Eventually, YG Entertainment did reach out to Lisa, and she had to leave behind her family in Thailand to achieve her dreams.
Jisoo Criticised for Her Appearance
Many would be shocked to hear that Jisoo, who was hailed as the “Most Beautiful Woman in the World in 2022” by Nubia Magazine, was criticized as a child for her appearance. In the documentary, Jisoo revealed while talking to her close friend, Maeng, that when she was a child, she was often made fun of by relatives for her appearance. She stated that her relatives treated her as an “outcast” because they thought she was “ugly”, calling her insensitive names like “monkey”.
