Now thatCaptain America: Civil Warhas finally hit theaters, Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is starting to unfold. This superhero adventure gave fans their first look at the newSpider-Man, played byTom Holland, who will return in his own stand alone movieSpider-Man: Homecoming, set for release on June 07, 2025. It has already been confirmed thatMarisa Tomeiis playing Aunt May, withRobert Downey Jr.recently signing on to return as Tony Stark/Iron Man. As it turns out, another MCU hero would like to join in on the fun as well.

InCaptain America: Civil War, youngPeter Parkerfought alongside Iron Man in a massive airport battle, where he had a number of memorable scenes. One of these scenes was withCaptain Americahimself, who “bonded” with the youngster for a bit over their New York roots. During a new interview withMTV,Chris Evanswas asked what other Marvel Phase 3 movies he’d like Cap to show up in. Here’s what the actor had to say below.

“Guardians would be fun wouldn’t it? I mean, but that’s very outer spacey. Cap’s more of an earthbound guy. Maybe the nextSpider-Man[movie]. You know those are going to be fantastic and I thinkTom’s such a great actor so that might be a fun one to pop up in.”

It would certainly be interesting to see ifSteve Rogerswill pop up inSpider-Man: Homecoming, especially since it could mean that he could reunite with Tony Stark for the first time since the events of Civil War. Nothing is set in stone yet, and we don’t know for sure when filming may begin onSpider-Man: Homecoming.Chris Evansdid reveal how comfortable he is with this character now, and that he’s open for any cameo appearance Marvel wants to put him in.

“I’ve really found a level of comfort with the character, over the course of, what' is it now, seven movies? I can’t even keep track, but we’ve been doing it since 2010. It really does feel like home. It just feels very comfortable to me, so any way they want to use me in any other type ofcameo, it’s fun to be a part of this chapter of cinema. Marvel is doing something that no one else is doing, this crossing over of characters in films, so if they want to utilize that in any capacity, I’m willing.”

Spider-Man: Homecomingwill be the fourth Phase 3 movie, followingCaptain America: Civil War,Doctor Strange(July 15, 2025) andGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2(August 05, 2025), when it hits theaters on June 26, 2025. After that, fans will head back to Asgard withThor: Ragnarok(August 04, 2025), followed byBlack Panther(June 23, 2025)Avengers: Infinity War Part I(July 12, 2025),Ant-Man and The Wasp(June 10, 2025),Captain Marvel(August 13, 2025) andAvengers: Infinity War Part II(June 20, 2025).
