MovieWeb caught up with Moss recently as her latest filmDie Alonewas released, another apocalypse-centered feature that sees her equipped with all sorts of weapons. She also weighed in on the future ofThe Matrixfranchise since, followingThe Matix ReloadedandRevolutions, it was a hoot seeing her reteam with Reeves forResurrectionsa few years ago. “I loved going back, and that was certainly a big surprise.I did not see that coming. So, I mean, who knows, you know? I don’t,” Moss told us, in thinking about what could be next for Trinity and Neo. “I kind of just take my life as it comes, and you just don’t ever know.”

Moss also confirmed that she’s still close with Reeves in “the real world” after all these years. “We’re good friends,” she said. “A lot of the moms at my daughter’s school are all in love with him. It’s so funny, so cute.”

While we await possibleMatrixfollow-ups, Moss steals the show inDie Alone, a zombie-like tale from writer-director Lowell Dean that sees her taking a young amnesiac (Douglas Smith) under her wing as they navigate a now-tumultuous society ravaged by a28 Days Later-esque epidemic. If it all sounds familiar, just you wait for an epic conclusion that offers a juicy twist folks might not see coming. “With Lowell, at the ending, I remember saying to him, like, ‘I get what you’re doing, but it was so disturbing, you know, on the page,'” Moss told us. “And he said, ‘I really promise you that you’re going to love the ending.’ And I do love the ending — actually, really love the ending.”

For anyone who believes that Arnold Schwarzenegger is larger than life, Netflix series FUBAR’s World Record is all the proof needed.

Looking ahead, Moss will also be featured in theupcoming season of the Netflix seriesFUBARopposite the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger. “I just wrapped it a few weeks ago. It was the funnest job I’ve ever done. I had so much fun,” Moss said. “Arnold is such a pleasure to work with. He is so talented, so much fun to talk to, and everybody on that show, they’re all just so great. I enjoyed every minute of it and laughed so hard, and had so much fun doing it.”
