Netflix has released a new trailer for the upcoming sci-fi blockbusterThe Electric State, featuring special effects galore and an ’80s-style Chris Pratt. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film looks to be a return to their blockbuster style of filmmaking after the character-drivenCherryand the still big but somewhat scaled-downThe Gray Man. The trailer (which you’re able to watch below) features much more emotional stakes than the previous teaser released for the film. It centers around Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown), who learns through a robot that her brother, whom she thought was gone, may, in fact, still be alive, setting her on a journey toward the titular Electric State. Along for the ride is Keats (Chris Pratt), a man who once fought in the war against the machines before becoming disillusioned with the cause.
