Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have shared a few words of wisdom withThe Mandalorian’s Grogu ahead of his big-screen debut inThe Mandalorian and Grogu.Ewan McGregorandHayden Christensenare well-positioned to offer their advice and guidance to Din Djarin’s adopted foundling, having spent so much time in the galaxy far, far away over the years, both in the Skywalker Saga and several Disney+ Star Wars shows such asObi-Wan KenobiandAhsoka, whereas the beloved Baby Yoda is still developing his Force abilities.

The two Star Wars legends reunited on stage at the Fan Expo Boston over the weekend, much to the delight of the fans in attendance and those watching coverage of the event from home — Grogu included, provided he wasn’t too busy trying to eat frogs or playing with the Razor Crest’s control stick. McGregor and Christensen were asked what advice they would give to The Child as he continues to hone his abilities and connection to the Force, to which they both offered wise counsel, pulling from their own deep knowledge and past experiences.

[Obi-Wan] always tried to teach me patience, so I would impart the same wisdom. Not that I ever learned. I tried.”
