Get that big iron on your hip, becauseFalloutSeason 2 is heading to New Vegas. Fans already knew the show’s sophomore season was heading to the Strip when it was teased in the Season 1 finale. But,we’ve just got our first look at New Vegas, thanks to some leaked set photos. The Mojave Desert is the main setting of thebeloved video game,Fallout: New Vegas(which is commonly regarded as the best in the franchise). Prime Video’sFalloutseries is set years after the events ofNew Vegas, and the first set photos show off an iconic location the Courier would have stopped off in.

The photos were shared on X (formerly Twitter) by@FilmsFallout. Four photos revealed the town of Novac, which is a major location from the video game. Thephotos depict the Royal Hawaiian Motel, and another undisclosed building, with the town’s iconic welcome sign.In front of the motel sits a nuclear-powered car, and a Nuka Cola machine (Fallout’s fictional version of Coca-Cola). The broken welcome sign reads “No Vac,” where the town gets its name from.

The set was built in Bakersfield, California, which is a hilarious callback to the game. In Novac, a giant dinosaur holds the “World’s Second-Largest Thermometer,” a reference to the actual largest thermometer in Bakersfield. It’s a small detail, but one that proves the team behindFalloutclearly love the games.Unfortunately, the giant dinosaur hasn’t been revealed yet. But, given that Prime Video’sFalloutseries leans in to the absurdity of the games, it is expected to feature in the show.

Is Going to New Vegas a Good Idea for ‘Fallout?’

Almost everyone that’s been to Las Vegas has done some regrettable things, either getting too drunk, trying to swim in the Fountains of Bellagio, or betting it all on red. ButFalloutmight have a different kind of regret with its New Vegas vacation. Prime Video’s series is set in the same world as the video games, and takes place after all the installments. But theFalloutgames are RPGs, where the player decides how the narrative goes, and which factions come out on top. As a result, showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet will have to decide thecanonical ending toFallout: New Vegas.

Fallout Season 2 Could Arrive Sooner Than You Think, Says Star

War never changes. But release schedules do.

New Vegas was teased in the final shot ofFalloutSeason 1, as Hank McLean (Kyle MacLachlan) fled to the Mojave Desert, with Lucy (Ella Purnell) andThe Ghoul (Walton Goggins)hot on his tail. It wasn’t clear how much time Season 2 would spend in New Vegas. But, if we get smaller locations like Novac, then New Vegas will likely be the key setting for Season 2. InFallout: New Vegas, players have to decide which faction gains control of the Hoover Dam, which powers The Strip, and wipe out the rivaling factions. By the time of Prime Video’s show, that will already have happened. Will Wagner and Robertson-Dworet side with the NCR, Caesar’s Legion, the ominous Mr. House (who briefly appeared in Season 1), or one of the smaller gangs?
