13 years afterFinding Nemobecame a box office sensation, fans will get to reunite with these beloved characters under the sea in Disney Pixar’s long-awaited sequelFinding Dory. Now that Nemo (Hayden Rolence) has been reunited with his father Marlin (Albert Brooks), this father-son duo help their friend Dory reunite with her family. In honor of theMother’s Dayholiday, Disney Pixar has released a new TV spot that shows how excited the forgetful Dory is to finally remember her mother.

Finding Doryreunites the friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the true meaning of family along the way. The all-new big-screen adventure dives into theaters this summer, taking moviegoers back to the extraordinaryunderwater worldfrom the original film. The story takes place six months after the events ofFinding Nemo, with Dory living what appears to be a nice, quiet life swimming amongst the other clown fish. But after setting off with Nemo on a class trip to see manta rays migrate back home, she becomes a bit homesick herself. This leads the forgetful blue tang on a quest to discover where she truly comes from. The animated movie sequel was originally set at an aquarium theme park, but the studio changed its mind after watching the documentaryBlackfish, which showcased the dangers of keeping whales in captivity. The story now takes place at the California Marine Biology Institute, where Dory was born and raised. New characters such as an octopus, sea lions and a beluga whale will be featured inFinding Dory.

Finding Dory’s voice cast introduces a number of new characters, includingDiane KeatonandEugene Levy, who will voice Dory’s birth parents. Other cast members includeTy Burrell,Willem Dafoe,Vicki Lewis,Idris ElbaandDominic West.Albert Brooksreprises his role as Marlin, a clown fish who is overly cautious with his son, Nemo, who has a foreshortened fin.Ed O’Neillalso joins the voice cast as crusty oldHank the octopus.
