Last month, directorJon Wattsand several of his stars fromSpider-Man: Homecomingtook a break in the production to unveil the first footage atComic-Con. Unfortunately, that footage hasn’t been released online, but we have seen a number of photos from the set featuringTom Hollandin his fullSpider-Mancostume. A new convention is taking place in Las Vegas this week, where the first poster forSpider-Man: Homecomingwas spotted.
The poster surfaced earlier today on Twitter, which showsTom Hollandhanging upside down in his full Spidey suit. The poster was on display at the Magic Las Vegas convention for apparel vendors at the Las Vegas Convention Center, which got under way today. It isn’t known when this poster may be released officially, or if that may happen at all. Since Sony still hasn’t released the Comic-Con footage, it’s possible that they won’t officially release this poster for quite some time either.
Last week, we reported thatMichael Chernusjoined the cast ofSpider-Man: HomecomingasThe Tinkerer. He joins a massive cast that also includesMarisa Tomeias Aunt May,Michael Keatonas the villain, rumored to be Vulture,Zendayaas Michelle Gonzales,Tony Revolorias Flash Thompson,Jacob Batalonas Ned Leeds andLaura Harrieras Liz Allan. The cast also includesMichael Barbieri,Martin Starr,Isabella Amara,Jorge Lendenborg Jr.,J.J. Totah,Donald Glover,Kenneth Choi,Hannibal Buress,Bokeem Wodbine,Michael MandoandAbraham Attahin unspecified roles.
Rumors have surfaced thatMichael Mandois playing the villainCarnage, whileAbaraham Attahis rumored to play Miles Morales, but it isn’t known when we’ll get confirmation on these characters.Jon Watts(Cop Car) is directingSpider-Man: Homecomingfrom a script byJohn Francis DaleyandJonathan M. Goldstein(Vacation).Kevin FeigeandAmy Pascalare producing, with Marvel and Sony setting a August 07, 2025 release date.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe at large will also be represented inSpider-Man: Homecoming, withRobert Downey Jr.returning as Tony Stark/Iron Man, and there have also been rumors thatScarlet Johanssonwill be back asBlack Widow. It isn’t known how much filming is left in Atlanta onSpider-Man: Homecoming, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted with more updates as they come in.
