Luke Skywalker is one of the few characters in Star Wars: The Force Awakens who hasn’t been revealed at all in any of the trailers or photos thus far. DirectorJ.J. Abramsrevealed last month that he has been purposefully hiding the Jedi master from fans, and it seems that we won’t get to see him at all until this highly-anticipated adventure hits theaters next month. There have been plenty of rumors about Luke’s whereabouts over the past few years. Some have claimed Luke has joined theDark Sideof The Force, while others claim he has put himself into exile, after accomplishing something incredibly powerful by using The Force. For now, Luke’s fate will remain a mystery, but this footage does offer a cryptic hint about Rey.

The trailer opens with Maz Kanata’s voice saying she’s seen the same eyes in different people, which comes just as we see a shot of Rey followed Han Solo. Could this be a cryptic hint that Rey is actually Han Solo’s daughter? There have been a slew of rumors regarding Rey and Finn’s heritage, withJ.J. Abramsconfirming that their surnames have been kept a mystery for a reason, with many speculating that these characters may be the offspring of characters from the original trilogy.
Finn has been spotted wielding a lightsaber in a new poster and a brief video, but new trading cards reveal he is not part of the Jedi Order, although Rey is, even though we haven’t seen her holding a lightsaber yet. This trailer showcases Finn’s showdown with the villainous Kylo RenAnother report claims that the final runtime of Star Wars: The Force Awakens is two hours and 16 minutes, although that hasn’t been confirmed either.
