TheSuicide Squadaren’t necessarily a cute bunch, but the first set of toys being released for the DC Comics and Warner Bros. super villain adventure depict them as such. Mezco Toys has revealed their new line ofSuicide Squadminifigures based on the characters in this highly anticipated movie. Though, don’t expect the entire Squad right out of the gate. This is a large team, and only the main characters are arriving first. Here’s what the officialMezcoToyzsite has to say about this impending release.
“In the DC Universe, when a job is too dangerous for even a hero to handle there is just one group to call: the Suicide Squad. Based on Warner Bros upcoming action adventure film of the same name, theSuicide Squadis comprised of a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarceratedSuper Villains: The Joker, Killer Croc,Harley Quinn, Katana and Deadshot. Each figure is in the 2inch scale. All feature 5 points of articulation. Each character has been carefully recreated by the Mezco design team to match their on-screen appearance in the new big-budget spectacular. All five characters are packaged in a collector friendly window box suitable for display.”
As you can see, we’re getting minifigures based onMargot Robbie’s Harley Quinn,Will Smith’s Deadshot,Jared Leto’s Joker,Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s Killer Croc and Karen Fukuhara’s Katana. Not yet announced are characters such asCara Delevingne’s Enchantress,Jai Courtney’s Captain Boomerang,Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flagg andViola Davis' Amanda Waller. You can pre-order the toysHere. So far, these are the first pieces of Suicide Squad memorabilia we’ve seen announced for pre-sale. Warner Bros. is intent on gettingBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justiceout to the masses first, with that superhero epic arriving in just three months. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a wave ofBatman v Supermanmerch rush in. When the movie is finally in theaters, we’re sure to see even more toys, clothing and other items from Suicide Squad.
The CW Networkannounced a few weeks ago that the newSuicide Squadtrailer will debut during aDC Comicsspecial airing next month. The half-hour special will also feature new footage fromBatman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeandWonder Woman. It will be a full night of action fromDC Comicson Tuesday, August 11, 2025, as The CW presents two all-new half-hour specials,DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time Is Now (9:00-9:30pm ET/PT), andDC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League(9:30-10:00pm ET/PT). The specials will premiere following an original episode ofThe Flash(8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).
