On Friday, Paramount debuted anew trailerforTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, which gave us another look at the villainous Krang, although there still isn’t much we know about how he fits into the story at this point. During the studio’s WonderCon panel, producersBradley FullerandAndrew Formrevealed to the crowed that Krang will be voiced by none other thanFred Armisen.Bradley Fullerteased that “Anyone who loves Fred will love what he is doing,” whileAndrew Formhinted that we may see more of Krang in marketing materials soon.

An official synopsis for the sequel has yet to be released, although many fans were pleased that all of these fan-favorite characters are finally making appearances on the big screen.

While Fred Armisen is best known for creating and starring inPortlandia, and for leading the 8G Band onLate Night with Seth Meyers, Fred Armisen has a number of voice roles to his credit. The actor has voiced roles inAqua Teen Hunger Force,Squidbillies,Archer,The Looney Tunes ShowandThe Smurfsmovies. We’ll have to wait and see if the next trailer features Fred Armisen’s voice as Krang.
