Michael K. Williams is playing a character namedHawkinsinGhostbusters. Though, at this time, the specifics of that character are being kept under wraps. And it isn’t known if he has any ties to the original in any way. He will shoot this complete revamp of the franchise first, before going to work alongsideMichael FassbenderandMarion Cotillardlater in the year. Also recently added to the Ghostbusters cast areAndy Garciaas the Mayor of New York City,Matt Walshas a character named Rouke, and real-life NYC News anchor Pat Kiernan starring as, what else, a news anchor.
