They include a role in the all-femaleGhostbustersreboot, which is currently filming in New York. And thevideo game adaptation,Assassin’s Creed, which will shoot later this year for a 2016 Christmas release.
Michael K. Williams is playing a character namedHawkinsinGhostbusters. Though, at this time, the specifics of that character are being kept under wraps. And it isn’t known if he has any ties to the original in any way. He will shoot this complete revamp of the franchise first, before going to work alongsideMichael FassbenderandMarion Cotillardlater in the year. Also recently added to the Ghostbusters cast areAndy Garciaas the Mayor of New York City,Matt Walshas a character named Rouke, and real-life NYC News anchor Pat Kiernan starring as, what else, a news anchor.
Michael K. Williams’sAssassin’s Creedrole is also appropriately being kept under wraps for the time being. Though, it is noted that the character has a major stake in what is being set up as a new multi-movie franchise.
