Avengers: Infinity Waris just around the corner and Marvel Studios has just released some brand-new character posters to prepare us for the beginning of the end. The new posters come after aplea from the Russo Brotherswas posted on social media, asking Marvel fans to not spoil anything about the movie when it’s released. Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland shared the message yesterday and then shared the newInfinity Warcharacter posters today, further adding to the Marvel hype machine.
Robert Downey Jr. was thefirst of the Avengersto share his Tony Stark character poster and was quickly followed by hisInfinity Warco-stars. Marvel Studios as well as the cast and crew have done anadmirable job keeping spoilers from leakingabout the upcomingInfinity Warand the still untitledAvengers 4. It’s pretty remarkable that nothing has leaked at this point and the Russo Brothers aim to keep it that way. Instead of giving us the title forAvengers 4right off the bat, the directing duo instead warn Marvel fans that they should be “scared” about the forthcoming title. It’s these teasers and the interaction with fans on social media that has made the journey toInfinity Wara pleasurable experience for fans.
Thenewly released character postersare a way to hype up the release date, but they also have a dark undertone to them. The deaths! Some of these most beloved comic book characters in history may not make it out of the epic battle with Thanos alive, and it has Marvel fans on edge. The main characters who have the most rumors swirling about them are Captain America and Iron Man at this time, which has been fueled by interviews with Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. The actors reveal that they’d like to go out on top, which has led to much speculation that their characters could die.

While the Russo Brothers are asking Marvel fans from all over the world not to spoil anything aboutInfinity War, spoilers are bound to leak after the directors play some new footage for fans in the coming weeks and after the world premiere on April 23rd. Thoughno full screenings will be held before the world premiere, some bits of information are bound to find their way online, so beware.
