With a recent resurgence in popularity, collectors are shelling out to get their hands onJohnny Deppmovie props. PerTMZ, a “scissorhand” used by Depp in the Tim Burton classicEdward Scissorhandswas recently put up for auction where it was expected to sell for about $30,000 to $50,000. The prop ultimately sold for $81,250, much higher than those early estimates.Reportedly, the results of Depp’s recent defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard further increased the interest in theEdward Scissorhandsauction. Depp essentially clearing his name with a jury deeming the domestic violence allegations against him to be “false and defamatory” also means that big roles will likely soon be coming Depp’s way, and it’s inevitable that he’ll be back on the big screen in starring roles soon enough. No longer “canceled,” Depp is back on the rise, and that only makes props used by the actor in past films considered more valuable.Other props used by Depp in feature films have been going up for auction. It was recently announced that Depp’s motorcycle featured inCry-Babywillsoon hit the auction blockas well. The bike, which comes with all of its parts to theoretically be used by its buyer, will be selling for much higher than the scissorhand. Its minimum bid is $250,000, and potential buyers will need to place bids in $25,000 increments.Related:Here’s Why Pirates of the Caribbean Needs Johnny Depp and Jack Sparrow

Tim Burton directedEdward Scissorhandsand crafted the story with screenwriter Caroline Thompson. The film follows an artificial humanoid man who lives with scissor blades in place of his hands; trouble ensues when he is taken in by a neighboring family with their teenage daughter falling in love with him. Along with Depp, the film stars Winona Ryder, Dianne Wiest, Anthony Michael Hall, and Vincent Price.

While the film was never given an official sequel, a Super Bowl ad from last year brought back Ryder to reprise her role as Kim Boggs. The ad, promoting the Cadillac Lyriq, introduced Timothee Chalamet as Edgar, Edward and Kim’s son. It was a fun acknowledgment of the original movie, but most fans were insistent that it shouldn’t result in a sequel or reboot, considering the originalEdward Scissorhandsto be perfect and untouchable.
