We don’t know how a full musical would tie intoJoker: Folie À Deux, and the rumors may turn out to be false, however, the groundwork has been put in place to make the idea work. Although far from confirmed,TheWrapreported that theJokersequel would primarily take place in Arkham Asylum, which would make sense following the first movie’s ending. The last scene sees Arthur talking to a doctor, receiving treatment for his mental illness. As the credits roll, he’s killed the doctor and runs wild within the psychiatric hospital. This could very well be where Phoenix meets Gaga, and the two begin their journey inFolie À Deux.
