It seems thatLokiandDeadpool 3could connect in more than one way. Season 2 of the Disney+ original show will arrive this year on the streaming platform, becoming the first series within the MCU to get a second batch of episodes. And there’s a very important reason for this.
Marvel Phase 4 introduced the concept of the Multiverse, which will be a massive part of the franchise’s future.Lokiwas the first story to explore different realities and have characters traveling through them, thanks to Tom Hiddleston’s character working for the TVA.
This jumping through realities was later explored in other projects and will probably be a huge part ofDeadpool 3, considering that the original version of Hugh Jackman’s Logan is dead, and the actor already stated that timeline would not be modified. So either Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson travels back in time to meet his fellow mutant or a different variation of Wolverine will be introduced in the film.
But Logan might not be the only familiar face fans will see inDeadpool 3. Early this week, a rumor regarding Owen Wilson’s Mobius was spread around the internet. And another Loki character was already said to appear in the film, Miss Minutes.
Now. thanks to the actress behind the character, we have some new insight into the matter. Here’s whatTara Strongtold Agents of Fandom (viaThe Direct) when asked about her involvement inDeadpool 3:
“I saw that online today, right?. Honestly, I wouldn’t tell you if I knew, but from what I know, I don’t know anything about that yet. Haven’t heard anything. But I’m certainly down to do it, I think it would be fun.”

How Deadpool 3 Fits Within the MCU?
InDeadpool 2, Wade Wilson joined forces with Cable, a mutant with the tools to travel through time. Nathaniel “Nathan” Summers was played by Josh Brolin, who also gave life to Thanos in the MCU, something Reynolds will definitely joke about in the next film. But there are so many other ways for Wade Wilson to fit into the franchise.
Such as Loki, the Merc with a Mouth can become an agent of chaos, especially if he somehow gets the ability to travel through time, something that Jackman already teased. This means that the involvement of the TVA in the movie would make a lot of sense, with Mobius, Miss Minutes, and Loki himself having some participation.
Beyond that, the MCU is already teasing the official introduction of theX-Menor at least mutants, with Kamala Khan and Namor as the first ones to hint at their mutant origin. Deadpool and Wolverine are two of the most famous characters from that universe, so they can work as a bridge to bring theX-Meninto the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
