In 2016, the world was introduced to the merc with a mouth, Marvel’s “hero"Deadpool.Owned by 20th Century Fox at the time, Deadpool took the world by storm through the outrageous and charismatic performance of Ryan Reynolds as the titular hero, despite Reynolds initialfears of making the movie. The film was a breath of fresh air as it introduced R-rated comedy to the superhero genre, something we had yet to see from any Marvel or DC property. Fast-forward to 2019 and one Deadpool sequel later, Disney officially purchased 20th Century Fox and all the Marvel goodness that the studio had previously owned, including Deadpool and the X-Men. While we do know Deadpool figures intoKevin Feige’s MCU plans, with phase five and sixset to release throughout the next few years. We have yet to know just how. One can’t help but imagine the possible interactions Deadpool could have with our favorite established MCU heroes and villains. Well, wonder no more; let’s take a look at some MCU characters we can’t wait to see Deadpool interact with.

Moon Knight

Moon Knightmade his long awaited debut in the MCU in theEmmy Award-winning seriesof the same name on Disney+ in early 2022 and quickly became one of the most iconic MCU characters to date. With his striking outfit both as Moon Knight and Mr. Knight, and his brutal fighting style, he made an immediate impact on the MCU. While the series was one of the least connected to the overall MCU, we do know we will see Moon Knight show up in future projects involving other heroes throughout the universe. We surely hope that Deadpool is one of them. Not only could the two produce unbelievable fight sequences with one another, but the conversations between Deadpool and Mr. Knight has the potential to produce some great comedy within the MCU.

Rocket Raccoon

Rocket Raccoon has been a staple of the MCU since the 2014 release ofGuardians of the Galaxyand is slated to play a big role in the upcoming third volume.Known for his awesome weapons and sarcastic yet cocky personality, Rocket has delighted fans in both the Guardians and Avengers films. Watching a back ad forth battle of sarcastic wits between Rocket and Deadpool would make for some compelling viewing for any MCU fan.

Loki is one of the OG members of the MCU, dating all the way back to his first appearance inThorover a decade ago. Ever since then, Loki has gone through battle after battle, death after death, timeline after timeline. The trickster prince of Asgard always has a plan or scheme up his sleeve, much like a certain red and black-suited mercenary we all know. Deadpool fighting alongside Loki would surely be an encounter worth waiting for. The ending ofLokiseason onesets up a lot of the MCU’s future, a future Deadpool is sure to play a part in.

Visionis as amethodical, analytical, and sophisticated thinker and communicator as we have seen in the MCU. We were able to see Vision develop more as a character, albeit through Wanda’s spell version of him inWandaVision. We can certainly imagine a world of Deadpool cracking immature and inappropriate jokes at Vision’s expense while trying to break through to the impenetrable android’s funny bone.

Ms. Marvel

Another new hero introduced through Disney+ is Kamala Khan, also known asMs. Marvel. We have learned a lot about Deadpool throughout his two movies and one of those things is that he does surprisingly well with younger super-powered individuals, as seen in 2018sDeadpool 2. Seeing Ms. Marvel fight alongside a protective and wannabe mentor like Deadpool is an interaction we would love to see.

One of the many highlights to come fromThor Ragnarokwas the introduction of Korg. This sweet but tough Kronan quickly became a fan favorite and featured in bothAvengers: EndgameandThor: Love and Thunder. The dynamic between Korg and Deadpool could be reminiscent of a similar dynamic between Deadpool and Colossus in the first two Deadpool movies.

Bucky Barnes

The last two entries focus on characters we would love to see Deadpool interact with in a combat matter, two MCU alums that would help produce some awesome fighting sequences either alongside or against Deadpool. One of those characters is Buck Barnes. Fresh off his adventure with now Captain America, Sam Wilson, inThe Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Bucky is as straight laced as ever but still capable of unleashing the brutal fighting style learned during his time as The Winter Solider. A melee with Deadpool is sure to create a memorable fight as Bucky is not afraid to lop off an arm or two, something Deadpool knows all too much about. Deadpool could help play a part in whatcould be next for Bucky in the MCU.

Yelana Belova

One character we would love to see Deadpool interact with is Black Widow, sadly, for reasons we all know, that does not seem entirely possible. However, with the multiverse seemingly busted open, maybe it could be. Someone who is trained just as well as Black Widow is her sister, Yelana Belova, played by Florence Pugh inBlack Widow. With a fighting style similar to Bucky’s, Yelana could stand toe to toe with Deadpool with her fighting skills and penchant for trash talking. This is an interaction we would love have to and very well could see in the future.
