BASEketball Becomes a “Real” Sport in Australia
A Brisbane, Australia bar has taken the fictional sport invented in the 1998 comedy BASEketball and turned it into a real league. Of course, it isn’t a professional league, butBrisbane Magazinereports that the league will run every Saturday at a local watering hole known as The Brightside, where songs by Reel Big Fish will be on repeat throughout the competition.
