Wednesday Addamsis back from the dead! (Well, sort of.) At the end ofWednesdaySeason 2 Part 1, we last see Wednesday — spoiler alert! — being pushed out a window by Tyler (in monster form). Episode 4 concludes with a close-up shot of Wednesday, lying unconscious on the ground.
In the newly released trailer for Netflix’sWednesdaySeason 2 Part 2, fans can see Wednesday lying in a hospital bed, presumably in a coma. In a matter of seconds, she wakes up and is greeted by an unlikely visitor: Principal Weems. Fans may recall thatPrincipal Larissa Weems(Gwendolyn Christie) met an untimely fate after being poisoned by Marilyn Thornhill (Christina Ricci) in Season 1. Now, Weems has come back to Nevermore Academy — only this time, she’ll serve as Wednesday’s new spirit guide.

While talking to Netflix’sTudum,Christie shared how excited she was to come back forWednesdaySeason 2. She revealed:
“I was so thrilled to come back and work again with this wonderful cast and the magnificent Jenna Ortega and the rest of our brilliant cast. I felt like I was returning to a group of friends who are all at the top of their game. It is such a pleasure for me to be a part of this emotional world, this imaginative world, and play the character of Larissa Weems, who I truly adore and really thought a lot about bringing into being.”

“Rise and shine, sleepyhead,” Weems, who is wearing a nurse’s uniform, gleefully says as Wednesday emerges from the hospital bed in the trailer. “Ready for your sponge bath?” Of course, Wednesday is startled to see her dead former principal, and asks “What ring of hell is this?” To that, Weems says, “This isn’t hell, Miss Addams. But I understand the confusion.” Then she reassures Wednesday that she’s there to help her after having a near-death experience. The rest of the trailer gives fans a sneak peek at what’s to come inWednesdaySeason 2 Part 2, from Wednesday and her roommate Enid (Emma Myers) teaming up to stop Tyler once and for all, to Morticia and Gomez Addams (played by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán, respectively) returning to Nevermore Academy. you’re able to watch the full trailer below.
And yet fans couldn’t help but notice one person was missing from the newWednesdaytrailer:Lady Gaga.

Will Lady Gaga Appear in ‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Part 2?
Short answer: Yes! It was confirmed earlier this year that the “Abracadabra” singer would be joining the popular Netflix series as a guest star. The streaming service shared the following details about her character: “Mysterious and enigmatic, Rosaline Rotwood is a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.” Being that Gaga’s character has yet to be revealed in the new trailer — or any promotional photos forWednesdaySeason 2 — something tells us that fans are in for a very (spooky) treat. Gaga will appear alongside the main ensemble cast, including Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene Ottinger), Georgie Farmer (Ajax Petropolus) and more.
Mark your calendars:WednesdaySeason 2 Part 2 premieres on July 18, 2025 on Netflix.
