Sony Pictures is moving ahead onTarantino’s New Movie, which will be set in the year 1969 and centers on several different aspects of that pivotal year, including the murder of actress Sharon Tate by the Manson Family. Early reports speculated that the entire movie was centered on this murder, but that was later denied. The release date is set for July 31, 2025, which also happens to be the50th Anniversary of Sharon Tate’s death....
Several days after his reported disappearance, authorities have discovered human remains believed to belong toSeinfeldactor Charles Levin. Reportedly, Levin was in the process of moving when he vanished without a trace on July 8, prompting his son to report him missing. After initially failing to locate Levin after an exhaustive search, an emergency cell phone ping led authorities to a remote area in Selma, Oregon. As the search efforts now resumed in this area, investigators were finally on the right track when a resident discovered the 70-year-old’s abandoned car in the area, sharing its location with the police....

SplitisM. Night Shyamalan’s best film in fifteen years. His second outing with micro-budget, horror producer Jason Blum isn’t in the same league of Signs or The Sixth Sense. But delivers enough chills to warrant a positive recommendation.James McAvoyis a one man show here. He takes creepy to the nth degree with a truly disturbing performance. Shyamalan knows the value of his lead actor and lets him run to greatness. There’s also the requisite twist ending, which I must acknowledge, is actually quite clever....
