Marvel has just prevailed in a four-year-old lawsuit that alleged they had stolen the idea for theIron Man 3poster from comic book artists Ben and Ray Lai. The Lai brothers had a comic book series titledRadixin the early 2000s that gained a little steam and attention in the industry. A character by the name of Caliban appears in that comic book and, at one point, they did a piece of art centered on that character that looks very similar to what ultimately ended up as the one-sheet for director Shane Black’sIron Man 3....

Hulu’s M.O.D.O.K. experiment is over. According toDeadline,Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K., theanimated series at Hulubased on the comic book supervillain, has officially been canceled. The Patton Oswalt-led show’s demise is just the latest Marvel adaptation not to work out at Hulu, afterHelstromwas previously canceled while plannedHoward the DuckandTigra & Dazzlershows were passed on by the streamer. Because the critic and fan reception had been mostly positive, it seems likely thatMarvel’s M.O.D.O.K.was canceled due to low viewership numbers....

Richard Romanus, the actor best known for his roles inMean Streets, Heavy Metal, andThe Sopranos, has died. Romanus, who was 80, passed away at a private hospital in Volos, Greece, on December 23. News of his death was confirmed by his son, Robert Romanus, toThe Hollywood Reporter; the cause has not been revealed. Romanus, of Lebanese descent, was born on July 16, 2025, in Barrem, Vermont. He received a bachelor’s in philosophy from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, before attending law school....
