Disneyland and California Adventure have started testing the lighting systems for theirAvengers Campusand it looks awesome. The California theme park has been closed since March 2020, right before the big opening day announcement for the Marvel-themed expansion, which was supposed to debut last summer. In the time since, workers have been able to take their time and perfect the new area of the park that is now scheduled to open at some point this year....

Today is Inauguration Day, as President-ElectDonald Trumpbecomes sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. Netflix thought today would be fitting to release a new teaser forHouse of Cards Season 5, which doesn’t include any actual footage, but does reveal that the series will return to stream Season 5 in its entirety on May 30. The teaser features a group of children saying the Pledge of Allegiance, while we see what appears to be a traditional American flag, but we see that it’s actually hanging upside down....

The third time is certainly not the charm for Director Ron Howard andTom Hanks.Inferno, their latest adaptation of author Dan Brown, is an entirely illogical thriller that at no point had my interest. The historical babble and endless chase scenes blur into a two hour postcard for Italian travel. The film aims for a breathtaking pace, but doesn’t give enough time to elaborate on the supposed mystery. Characters bounce around with superhuman intuition, then become foolish to sneak in a few twists....

The Russo Brothers recently held a Q&A event where they revealed that they are not interested in taking on any DC characters and bringing them to the big screen.The Marvel Cinematic Universeis pretty much an unstoppable force at this point in time, thanks to creative storytelling and the heavy collaboration between directors.The DCEUon the other hand, is still quite successful, but they haven’t been able to fully capitalize on the potential of their superheroes recently....

Netflix is great at churning out shows with diverse casts and high production values, but the writing often fails by being shoddy or downright lackluster. Some scripts are so terrible that an AI tool might as well have regurgitated them. Add to that somehidden gems that are canceledby the platform before being given a chance to wrap up their storylines—a practice that has repeatedly drawn the wrath of fans of those shows (ripSanta Clarita Diet,Mindhunter,Glow)....

It’s been nearly 8 years sinceJackass 3Dand nowJohnny Knoxvilleis back to his daredevil roots in the trailer forAction Point, which hits theaters June 1st. Fans of the Jackass franchise got their hopes up about a possibility of a 4th movie when Knoxville posted a picture of himself with Wee-Man and Bam Margera. It was the first time that he and some of the crew had been in the same place in 7 years, since the filming ofJackass 3D....

Kanye Westis apparently coming up with some interesting new ways of redesigning his home, as the presidential hopeful says he’s developing plans to recreate the famous rolling boulder scene fromRaiders of the Lost Arkas some kind of doorway. “Uuuum trying to figure out how to do the Indiana Jones [boulder] as a door in real life… uuum …yeah,” West posted to Twitter on Saturday evening. While it’s difficult to tell how seriously he’s taking this, West also included a photo of some plans for the door that he’d been sketching, showing that he’s definitely put a lot of thought into the idea....
