Three decades later, the baby featured on the cover of Nirvana’sNevermindalbum has filed a lawsuit against the band. Spencer Elden, now 30 years old, appeared on the 1991 album cover as an infant underwater facing a dollar bill on a fishhook. Now alleging that the photo constitutes child pornography, Elden is suing for damages with the argument that he was sexually exploited byNirvanafor the sake of promoting their music. “Defendants intentionally commercially marketed Spencer’s child pornography and leveraged the shocking nature of his image topromote themselves and their musicat his expense,” the lawsuit reads....

ActorSeymour Casselhas passed away. He was 84-years old. Cassel died Sunday, April 7th in Los Angeles of complications from Alzheimer’s disease, according to his son, Matt. The actor was best-known for appearing in several John Cassavetes projects over the years and worked withWes AndersononRushmore,The Royal Tenenbaums, andThe Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. Cassel was also known for being a versatile talent that made him an admired character actor in the entertainment industry....

The legendary actor Sidney Poitier is no longer with us, but his memory will be honored with a new documentary exploring his body of work. PerVariety, the doc is in the works at Apple with Oprah Winfrey attached to executive produce the Apple Original Films release. The untitled doc, which also included the involvement of Poitier’s family, has reportedly been in the works for more than a year. Harpo Productions and Network Entertainment are collaborating on the documentary....

It was recently announced that Todd McFarlane’sSpawnreboot cast Jeremy Renner as Detective Twitch Williams and now it has been revealed that the working title of the film will be Tony Dynamite and that it will begin filming in January of 2019. TheSpawnreboot has been picking up steam for the last handful of months with Jamie Foxx and Renner joining the cast. Foxx admitted that he has been pursuing the role since 2012, revealing that he flew out to Arizona to meet with McFarlane to discuss the part of the titular character....
