The first full-lengthBirds of Prey trailerhas finally arrived. It gives us a ton of colorful looks at Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Jurnee Smollett-Bell’s Black Canary and Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Huntress, but we also get a proper look at Ewan McGregor as the villain Black Mask. Though, as has been pointed out by many people on social media, McGregor’s version of Black Mask is, rather noticeably, missing his signature mask. Whether or not he winds up with it in the actual movie remains to be seen, but this initial look has drawn mixed reactions....

Ruby Rose may have only lasted one season onBatwoman, but the former lead star of The CW series is keeping the door open for other superhero roles. Between 2019 and 2020, Rose appeared in every episode of the show’s first season as Batman’s successor and the new savior of Gotham City. Due to a hectic work schedule and on-set injuries among other reasons, Rose announced her departure from the show ahead of the second season last year....

Colin Trevorrow was fired by Lucasfilm in 2017, with J.J. Abrams taking over to make what would ultimately becomeStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Trevorrow spent two years developing the story and designs for his version ofStar Wars 9, only for Disney and Lucasfilm to decide that the director wasn’t going to work out. However, one of his designs lives on at Disneyland’s recently openedStar Wars: Galaxy’s Edgeand fans have already started noticing it....

At long last, HBO has released a full-length trailer forGame of Thronesseason 8. Previously, the network had released a teaser trailer that didn’t give much in the way of action. Rather, it was more of a tense character piece. We’ve also seen bits and pieces of footage in various promos, but this is far and away the best look we’ve got at the series' upcoming conclusion. And it certainly looks like it’s going to be an epic conclusion at that....

Jason Reitman has shared the first family photo fromGhostbusters 2020. The new image from the highly anticipated sequel comes after the director teased fans with another look at the dilapidated Ecto-1 while announcing that production had officially started earlier this week. Reitman is clearly excited to finally get the project off of the ground and long-time fans are going to be watching closely to see what the director is doing with the beloved franchise and who will be coming back to reprise their roles from the first two installments....

During Comic-Con this summer, authorStephen Kinghelped put on a strange event for a book entitledCharlie The Choo-Choo, which is mentioned in the author’s third novel in hisThe Dark Towerseries,The Waste Lands. TheCharlie The Choo-Choobook didn’t actually exist in real life, until the Comic-Con event, where hundreds of fans showed up to snag one of the 150 copies of this “book,” with the “author” Beryl Evans (played by a Los Angeles actress namedAllison Davies), signing copies for fans....

If not for the Harvey Weinstein scandal, we might have had a sequel to the Kevin Smith comedyDogma. According to Smith himself in a new interview with Business Insider, the disgraced producer and former head of Miramax had called him just a matter of days before the news of the Weinstein scandal broke. In the call, Weinstein floated the idea of re-releasingDogmaon home video before then pitchingDogma 2to the Smith. Although talks hadn’t gotten serious and the pitch was just an idea at that point, Smith was open to making the sequel....
