Even though the Disney/Fox merger is set to finally close next week, thatDoctor Doommovie we’ve been hearing about may not be dead in the water just yet. It was initially announced byFargoandLegioncreator Noah Hawley at San Diego Comic-Con in 2017 that he was commissioned by Fox to write a solo movie centered on the Marvel Comics villain. We’ve had a few updates in the time since, but the project has seemed increasingly less likely as the merger approaches....

Shortly after shuttering its Master Control operations department in Los Angeles, E! has now canceled their longest running program.The Soup, acomedy seriesthat skewerspop culture, is going to air its series finale on December 18th. This will bring the show to a close after spending 22 years on the air. Falloutstar,Walton Goggins, hasdivulged his true feelings about playing The Ghoul in Prime Video’s hit sci-fi series. Set 200 years after a nuclear war decimated the world, The Ghoul, as his name might suggest, has been mutated by the radiation, peeling off his skin and nose, and drastically prolonging his life span. Goggins delivers a scene-stealing performance in the series (based on the video game franchise currently owned by Bethesda Softworks),but the process of becoming The Ghoul wasn’t as fun as actually playing him....

It seems that the main list of characters forBirds of Preyhas been released online, and it makes a very interesting omission. It’s expected that we’ll get some more information about Margot Robbie’s self-described “R-rated girl gang” movie this week at San Diego Comic-Con, but some intel may have already made its way online, ahead of the convention. We got to see Slimer in all of his gooey glory in the trailer, but it had some wondering if other iconic specters will be showing up in directorPaul Feig’s reboot. Today we have a new report fromBloody-Disgusting, which offers an update on one of the biggest (literally) characters from the 1984 classic, the Stay Puft Marshmallow man....

IT Chapter Twodirector Andres Muschietti intends to shoot additional footage for his supercut of both installments. The highly anticipated sequel was easily able to land the number one spot all over the world after premiering last weekend. While the movie made considerably less money than the first installment’s opening weekend, it was still enough to easily take the number one spot. There’s still plenty of time for the sequel to earn a lot of money at the box office, so we’ll just have to wait and see how it ends up when compared to the first movie....
