The franchise is still growing, as the future is set to introduce heroes like The Fantastic Four, Blade, and the X-Men as well as new villainous threats coming inthe form of Kang the Conquerorand potentially Doctor Doom....

The Predatoris a bloody, shotgun-paced actioner, loaded with expletives. The goofball characters race through the script; rattling off as many f-bombs as bullets. The speed of the story keeps your interest, but it becomes tonally cartoonish.The Predatoris too comical in its approach. Writer/director Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,Iron Man 3) ratchets down the gravitas. The result is a film that entertains, but feels inordinately lighthearted. Yesterday it was widely reported that Disney was in a panic over early test screenings forRogue One: A Star Wars Story, which didn’t go well. Sony Pictures' highly-anticipatedVenomkeeps adding to its growing cast, with comedic actressJenny Slateentering negotiations for a supporting role. While the character’s identity has been kept under wraps, sources claim the actress will play a scientist in the film, but there is no indication just yet if this character is based at all on another character that has roots in the Marvel Comics. It’s also unclear at this point how many more characters need to be added, but the cast is growing so fast that all of the roles may be filled soon....

Bloodshot, the upcoming superhero action movie starring Vin Diesel, could very well be the beginning of a Valiant Cinematic Universe if the actor gets his way. Whilst on the press tour for the Sony Pictures blockbuster, Diesel suggested there are plenty of movies in the works featuring characters from all across the vast Valiant Universe. Though Diesel did not name any characters specifically, the hosts asking him the questions did name-drop the likes of the space warrior X-O Manowar and the assassin Ninjak among others....
