Resident Evil: The Final Chapteris currently shooting inSouth Africa, where production has been going on for several months. And today, it looks like iconic characterAlicewill outlive the franchise. StarMilla Jovovichhas jumped back on herInstagramto share a look at herself after undergoing old age make-up. She had this to say about Old Alice.

So we won’t see Old Alice in an epilogue that shows her surviving the future? Then how does Old Alice fit into the plot? That we can’t tell you yet. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, the sixth live-action movie in the franchise, picks up immediately after the events inResident Evil: Retribution. Humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began, Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse.
In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.
Milla Jovovichhas been sharing plenty of photos from the South African set ofResident Evil 6. And we’ve already gotten a good look at hersupporting cast. The movie is bringing back some old favorites, while introducing some new characters to the mix.
