Scooby-Doois as popular as ever – well, we won’t talk aboutVelma– and while there are several animated and live-action projects currently in development for both Max and Netflix, the bizarre world of AI-generated movie trailers has beaten them to the punch to deliver a star-studded “what if” concept trailer for a new live-action movie.

The trailer, which is narrated by an AI version of Shaggy, brings together some intriguing - and some odd – casting choices to develop a new Mystery Inc. team. Starting from the top, we have the voice of Scooby-Doo being listed asDeadpoolstar Ryan Reynolds (a bit of a waste considering his supposed Scooby voice is not heard, and he appears in fully canine form removing any kind of celebrity identity), and the role of Shaggy going topop-star-turned-actor Harry Styles. The rest of the gang comprises of Zac Efron as a very youthful looking Fred, Sydney Sweeney (hilariously credited as Sweeney Sydney in the trailer) as Daphne, andStranger Thingsstar Millie Bobby Brown in an unlikely casting as Velma.

Bill Murray as Gandalf in AI Wes Anderson Lord of the rings

Bill Murray’s Gandalf and Willem Dafoe’s Sméagol are Just Two of the Wonders In a Wes Anderson Inspired Lord of The Rings Fan Trailer

A host of Wes Anderson stars appear in Lord of the Rings roles in a very unexpected fan-made trailer.

The trailer rounds off with two dubious characters, one of whom would undoubtedly get unmasked as the villain by “those pesky kids.” These are played by Jacob Elordi, in full hooded bad guy mode, and one time He-Man candidate Noah Centineo as a handyman character who, in true Scooby-Doo fashion, will no doubt turn out to be the real villain of the piece. Of course, we are never going to see this version in real-life, so we can only speculate on that. You can check out the video below.
