Sabrina is coming to an endafter season 4 and fans are not happy about it. Netflix made the announcement late yesterday, much to the disappointment of fans all over the world. This has led to a new petition to save the show, which has, as of this writing, gained nearly 20,000 signatures. “The show is extremely loved by fans and we hope this petition can bring the show back from the dead,” the campaign states.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrinawas originally set up toair on The CW, but season 1 ended up on Netflix instead. The news comes just days after it was announced that theRiverdalespin-offKaty Keenshas been canceled. While showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa isn’t happy about theNetflixshow coming to an end, he is happy with the way things turned out. He says, “I’m also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can’t wait for everyone to see part four.”

In addition to announcingChilling Adventures of Sabrinacancellation, Netflix also revealed some story details for the final answers. “TheEldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale,” the synopsis teased. “The coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to… The Void, which is the End of All Things.” The story continues, “As witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart, but will it be too late?”

While it seems unlikely that a new petition will saveChilling Adventures of Sabrina, it could possibly get picked up somewhere else in the coming months.Brooklyn Nine-Ninewas one show that ended up coming back from the dead, thanks to fans raising an uproar, so maybe the same thing will happen with Netflix. HBO Max would be a suitable home for the series, which could also be the place whereKaty Keeneends up too. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Netflix decides to do withChilling Adventures of Sabrina. If you’d like to show your support for the series, you can head over toChange.orgto sign the petition and possibly share it to others.
