In just a few weeks, Sony Pictures' R-ratedSausage Partywill hit theaters, but writer/producer/voice actorSeth Rogenbrought this outrageous comedy to Comic-Con last night for an early screening, and to release a newred band trailer. Before the screening,Seth Rogenintroduced the film to the audience, where he teased that a sequel is already in the works. The closestSeth Rogenhas ever come to making a traditional sequel was in his 2013 comedyThis Is the End. In that movie, the actor played himself and, with the help ofJames Francoand the rest of their friends, they made a sequel to their 2008 stoner comedyPineapple Express, while they were trapped inside after the rapture hit Los Angeles. “It’s the first time we’ve ended a movie with the intention of making another one. We have an idea of where we’d like it to go and we’d love to just maketalking sausagemovies for the rest of our lives. Who wouldn’t?”
