With numbers like these, it’s logical to ponder the prospects of aSuitsrevival. Executive producer Gene Klein, in a conversation withTVLine, hinted at the possibility. Although no official plans are underway, Klein amusingly commented on how he’s been “expecting a call” due to the show’s streaming triumph. He added,

“You know, I’ve mentioned to [creator] Aaron [Korsh] that I keep, in this era of reboots and reunions and all this other stuff, that I’m expecting a call at some point. But I’m not aware of any serious conversations. It’s just one of those things where, in this day and age, you wouldn’t be surprised if somebody called you someday. But so far, nothing that I’m aware of.”

However, the question that hovers in the minds of many is: Can “Suits” truly make a comeback? Klein acknowledges that rallying the original cast is no mean feat. Klein remarked,

“As you might remember, it was a complicated dance keeping everybody involved, getting all the actors deals done and keeping them involved through the end of the show. I’d be surprised if we could thread that needle for a reunion, but I’d also be delighted if that happened because [when] you do a show for that long, everybody becomes such good friends”

Klein reminisced about a recentSuits-themed event at Fox where cast and crew, including writers from early seasons meeting their later-season counterparts, gathered, underscoring the deep bonds formed over the series' lifespan.

Nevertheless, there is a consensus on one front:Meghan Markle’s return appears unlikely. Klein candidly stated, “I would assume that’s just not possible.”

So, what’s the magic formula behind the resurgence ofSuits? Klein has some insights. He credits a twofold phenomenon: the intrinsic allure of the show and the formidable reach of Netflix. The executive producer reflected on the feedback he often receives, revealing that the series continually garners new aficionados. He elaborated,

“I think there’s two different things going on, one set of things that has to do with the show itself and another that has to do with the power of a particular platform. On the one hand, anecdotally, people reach out to me all the time, so I know it still finds new viewers here and there. But there’s also something about the show that is rewatchable. There’s people who’ve watched it all when it was coming out and find it very comforting to watch again.”

In the ever-evolving world of streaming, where content is abundant,Suitshas emerged as an old wine in a new bottle, garnering both nostalgia and fresh acclaim. Whether or not this results in a reunion remains to be seen, but the legal drama’s legacy is indisputably enduring.
