Spoiler alerts have become mute in regards toTerminator Genisys, as Paramount and Skydance have decided to reveal the movie’s biggest secret in all of their posters and trailer. Today, we get a set of 5 character posters, the most interesting of which introducesJason Clarkeas the new T-3000 generation cyborg sent on a mission to kill Sarah Connor. How does Sarah’s son become an unstoppable killing machine with a metal endoskeleton? That certain plot point has yet to be released.

Terminator Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah (Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.

These latest character one-sheets show off three generations of Terminators, starting withArnold Schwarzenegger’s classic T-800, who arrives in the past to save a young Sarah and become her guardian. We then have the T-1000, a cyborg first introduced inTerminator 2: Judgment Dayand played byRobert Patrick. Here, he is now played byByung-hun Leeand obviously no longer modeled after an Irish-American. Though, it should be noted, this model has the ability to shape shift, so the change in ethnicity is easily explained. We also get a new look atEmilia Clarkeas Sarah Connor andJai Courtneyas Kyle Reese. Take a look at the new and (maybe improved?) versions of these classic characters:
