James Gordon, amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens.

The Batman Will See Bruce Wayne Come Up Against The Riddler

The Batmanwill face his biggest threat so far in his career as a crime fighter, coming up against a serial killer known as The Riddler. Rather than telling the origin of Bruce Wayne,The Batmanwill instead act as an origin for the villains, with Bruceseemingly possessing a childhood connection to both Catwomanand Riddler.A tie-in prequel novel has revealed that Riddler, whose real name is Edward Nashton, attended the same school as Bruce Wayne but was on the opposite end of the social spectrum. Bullied and called names like “Ed-Weird,” Nashton has harbored a hatred for Bruce Wayne and his privileged upbringing for decades. Thus, his scheme will bring to light the corruption and abuse of power plaguing Gotham, revealing dark truths about the Wayne family.
