The Bob’s Burger Movieburst onto the silver screen in 2022, much to the admiration of its anxiously awaiting audience. The Bob’s Burgers Moviedebuted tophenomenal critical reviews. Though Bob Belcher himself would find being mentioned alongside rotten tomatoes, given his penchant for perfect produce, utterly appalling, long-time viewers of the Fox series were delighted to see their favorite family finally get the fanfare they deserve.

Of course,The Bob’s Burgers Moviewould not match the magic of its TV series if any of the Belchers failed to make an appearance. Luckily, every Belcher got their fair share of screen time in the series' first feature film. John Roberts (Good Day New York, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) reprised his role as the lovable Linda Belcher, as did Dan Mintz (Silicon Valley, The Simpsons) as Tina, Eugene Mirman (Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Flight of the Conchords) as Eugene, and Kristen Schaal (The Last Man on Earth, What We Do In the Shadows) as Louise. However, where would the Belcher family be without everyone’s favorite father figure, the titular Bob?

InThe Bob’s Burgers Movie,H. Jon Benjamin shows upin a big way. Bob runs the gamut of emotions in the film, from eager anticipation to all-consuming anxiety. He even spends some time fighting in a ferocious fit of fear while his family fights for their lives. H. Jon Benjamin is a once-in-a-generation voice talent, and it’s fortunate that he was finally granted the opportunity to give voice to the character of Bob Belcher on the big screen. With a less talented actor, this cartoon character might have lacked depth, and not just in his animation.

At the end of the day, the most important aspect of Bob’s life is not the beefy burgers he broils up in the back. Bob Belcher is the ultimate family man. Though at times (or, to be frank, most of the time), Bob can be seen rolling his eyes at the hilarious hijinks of his foolish family, it is clear to see just how important his wife and children are to maintaining his motivation.
