The age old war betweenwerewolvesandvampiresis ready to rage again inUnderworld 5! Today, Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment has revealed that the title of this latest chapter in theUnderworld sagais titled Underworld Blood Wars. This news arrives along with the firstteaser poster.
Underworld Blood Wars findsKate Beckinsalereturning to reprise her iconic role as Selene. Also returning in this horror thriller isTheo Jamesas Selene’s trusted ally David. The movie will be in theaters just in time for Halloween, arriving October 14 of this year.
Also starring in the cast are British actors Tobias Menzies and Lara Pulver, who take on the roles of a formidable new Lycan leader and a fiercely ambitious Vampire.Charles Dancewill be back once again to portray the legendary Vampire elder Thomas. Capping off the immensely talented cast are James Faulkner, Peter Andersson, Bradley James, Daisy Head and exciting newcomer Clementine Nicholson.
Underworld Blood Wars is directed byAnna Foerster, who previously directed episodes of bothCriminal MindsandOutlander. She made a name for herself as a cinematographer shooting such blockbusters asIndependence Day,The Day After TomorrowandWhite House Downfor directorRoland Emmerich. She will be working for a screenplay penned by Cory Goodman based on characters created by Kevin Grevioux, Len Wiseman and Danny McBride.
Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, and Richard S. Wright are producing alongside David Kern and Len Wiseman.Anna Foersterproduction team includes cinematographer Karl W. Lindenlaub, production designer Ondrej Nekvasil, costume designer Bojana Nikitovic, and editor Peter Amundson (Pacific Rim, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans).
