Setting the stage for the highly-anticipated new filmWarcraft, Legendary Comics announced the official graphic novel prequel Warcraft: Bonds of Brotherhood today at the BlizzardComic-Conpanel. Based on the fantasy phenomenon from Blizzard Entertainment, this thrilling adventure of bravery, bloodshed and brotherhood is an original story conceived by Blizzard’s Chris Metzen, written by the award-winning Chris Metzen (Doctor Who) and featuring art fromMat Broome(Batman: No Man’s Land, WildC.A.T.S., Witchblade).Warcraft: Bonds of Brotherhood will be released in May 2016, weeks before the movie hits theaters on June 10th.
Warcraftwill be a part of theLegendary Picturespanel atComic-Con, which takes place Saturday, July 11 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM inHall H. Thevideo gameadaptation will be joined byCrimson PeakandKrampus, although it hasn’t been confirmed which cast members and filmmakers from each movie will be present. It also isn’t known what will be shown to the thousands of fans, but it’s possible that they could debut the very firstmovie trailer.
