ButJimmy Kimmelsaw right through his ruse.Matt Damonwas hoping to promote his highly-anticipated sci-fi dramaThe Martian, in theaters October 2, but, instead,Jimmy Kimmelaired an 11-minute video revealing their “couples therapy” session, which took this rivalry to a new level.
There have been several memorable moments in this longstanding feud, includingJimmy Kimmel’s then-girlfriendSarah Silvermanrecording a music video entitled “I’m F—ingMatt Damon.” That video promptedJimmy Kimmelto retaliate with arevenge videoof his own, entitled “I’m F—ingBen Affleck.” In 2013,Matt Damonhijacked the entire show, while a bound and gaggedJimmy Kimmelwas forced to watch.
While he still has never been “officially” interviewed byJimmy Kimmelyet, the actor has been up on stage a few times.
