What Ifwas a Marvel comic book series that explored how different aspects of this superhero universe might unfold had one key element been changed of if history had been rewritten. We’re getting a taste of that same idea today, as one enterprising fan has changed out Spider-Man in theCaptain America: Civil Wartrailer with fan-favorite Miles Morales. And as expected, he looks pretty cool.

We’re not sure if we’ll ever see half-black/half-Latino Miles Morlaes on the big screen.Spider-Manreboot directorJon Wattshas hinted that he may show up in the 2017 standalone movie. This next adventure for the wall-crawler brings Peter Parker back to high school, and will feature a diverse secondary cast. In the comics, Miles took over for Peter as Spider-Man. But asTom Hollandis new to the MCU, we doubt that will happen for quite some time.

But it’s still fun to imagine what that might look like. Thanks toTwitter’s@uk_resistantl, we get to see what Miles Morales spring to life. Is it better than what we actually got in the trailer? Maybe, maybe not. But there have been quite a few complaints that the new Web-slinger looks too CGI. Perhaps the VFX needed to bring Spidey to life aren’t finished yet? As far as Miles Morales replacing Peter Parker inCaptain America: Civil War? We doubt it would have had any affect on the overall story.
