While there are many fans waiting to learn Isaac’s Poe Dameron inStar Wars: The Force Awakens, the actor recently shed some light on his title villain in 20th Century Fox’sX-Men: Apocalypse. A much younger version of Apocalypse was teased during the end credit sequence forX-Men: Days of Future Past, butOscar Isaacwill be tasked with bringing a more powerful, older villain to life in next year’s superhero sequel. While he wouldn’t shed too much light on the character, he did reveal one of his powers, while doing press forA Most Violent Year. Take a look at what he had to say below.

“…One of his major powers is being able to change all the molecules in his body. So I’ll be changing all the molecules in my body. It’s gonna be a lot of fun.”

In the comic books, Apocalypse was a towering figure who had the ability to switch from host bodies to constantly revive his self-sustaining body. Of course, we have no idea what that will look like on the big screen yet, but it seems that this comic book adaptation is staying true to at least one of his powers. Wereported in SeptemberthatX-Men: Apocalypsewill end the trilogy that started with 2011’sX-Men: First Classand continued in last year’sX-Men: Days of Future Past. Production is scheduled to begin in Montreal later this year, so hopefully we’ll learn more about this superhero sequel soon.
